Here is a recipe for Raw Cacao Bliss Balls – lots of nutritious goodies in them including raw cocoa (full of antioxidants), coconut oil (with wonderful lauric acid) and chia seeds (for Omega 3 & 6). Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS:
Grind almonds, seeds and coconut in a food processor to a course flour consistency
Add dates and blend mixture (add cranberries if you prefer them blended other wise add later)
Transfer the ground nuts to a mixing bowl, add salt, cinnamon and cacao powder and mix well
Add oil and honey and knead mixture well
Add chia seeds
Shape into balls
Roll balls in cacao powder or desiccated coconut
Refrigerate until ready to eat
